About
Hi, I'm Mahathi, a traveler, planner, and firm believer that the best trips are the ones that feel slightly too ambitious. I started this blog to share what I've learned from years of moving fast through places I love, and to make it easier for others to do the same.
I've explored much of Europe, from the cobblestone streets of Western Europe (Paris, London, Amsterdam, and deep into Germany's cities) to the sun-soaked coasts of the south (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Croatia, and the French Riviera). I've wandered through the imperial capitals of Central Europe, including Vienna, Prague, Budapest, and Salzburg, and chased the northern lights above the Arctic Circle in Tromsø and Finnish Lapland.
In Asia, I've spent time across Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore.
I've also made it to North Africa (Morocco) and have called Chicago home base in the US.
Every place has left something with me. A dish I still think about, a neighborhood I'd move to tomorrow, a lesson in how to slow down. This site is where I put all of it.
Planning a trip and want help? Whether it's somewhere I've been or somewhere I haven't, I love talking through itineraries and answering questions. Get in touch. I'm always happy to help.
